The O'Connor's are just completing a very large and complicated job for us which involved a 2 story addition to an existing contemporary home and major renovations throughout the existing home.  Believe it or not we stayed in the house throughout the construction!  This was only possible because the O'Connors were not intrusive and organized the job so that their work was always contained within a circumscribed area and, at the end of each work day, everything was neat and clean (although there was certainly plenty of dust)

From the beginning of our relationship through today, Mick Sr. has always been flexible, ethical and reliable.  He reduced his price for the job after we already selected him, because we showed him some other bids which were lower, without changing any of the job specifications.  He started the work on time and will finish it on time as well, with the exception of delays due to availability of materials ordered by us. Mick was proactive and when a few things did not work out exactly as planned he pointed them out to us in an open and honest fashion and he always found good solutions to unexpected complications.  He has a very good eye for design as well and made some nice suggestions that enhanced the existing plans. The construction project stayed within budget with the exception of changes we made during the construction. There was clarity around each change order and the additional cost were always discussed and agreed to in advance. No challenge was too big for Mick. In his own words, "the impossible only takes five more minutes."
 

Mick Jr. is a pleasant young man who has a "can do" attitude and is always very professional. He and his father make a great team.  Their crew are professional and easy to have around (they listen to great classical rock n roll). The subcontractors they brought on site were uniformly reliable and skilled. We were particularly impressed by the craftsmen who laid our tiles and reconfigured our stone fireplace. The plumber was also excellent, the painters were meticulous and paid attention to detail and the air conditioning people and electricians got the work done.

Without reservation, we would hire the O'Connors to do any project we undertake in the future. We are happy to serve as a reference to them.
